I don’t know what happened, but the instructions on midlandusa.com feel way more confusing than they used to be. I had to keep rereading the same sections and still wasn’t totally sure what I was supposed to do next. It kind of feels like they assume you already know all the steps, which is frustrating when you’re just trying to get a simple setup done...

"Sounded really muffled to me"
I could barely hear what was going on. The audio had this dull, muffled tone that made everything sound unclear, so it just wasn’t enjoyable to listen to.

"This thing is kind of a battery..."
This thing is kind of a battery hog. I barely make it through half my workday before it’s begging for a charger. Annoying if you actually need it to last.

"Range was a big letdown"
I bought these for a camping trip thinking they’d be reliable, but the range was nowhere near what they claim. It says miles, but we lost signal just a little ways down the trail once there were some trees between us. I was like, why is this so complicated for something that’s supposed to just work? Definitely didn’t feel worth the money, and I don’t think I’d buy Midland again.

"Stopped working way too soon"
I bought this Midland radio thinking it would hold up, but it started cutting out after just a few uses. The battery reading was weird too, like it kept jumping around and I never really knew where it was at. For something I actually needed to count on, it just wasn’t reliable. Really disappointing, really not what I expected.

Setup was rough. The instructions confused me, the app kept acting weird, and after about an hour I just gave up. Not easy for me.

"Not really worth money to me"
I bought this from Midland thinking it would be solid for price, but I don’t feel like it was worth it. It works fine enough, but there’s nothing really special about it, and the quality just doesn’t feel like what I paid for. I’ve used cheaper stuff before that did basically same job. In the end I just felt like I wasted money, so I wouldn’t buy it again.

"Warranty stuff took forever"
I had to deal with the warranty support and it dragged on way longer than I expected. At first I thought it would be a quick fix, but then there was waiting, then more back and forth, and I kind of lost track of what was even happening. The people weren’t rude or anything, it just felt slow and a bit frustrating when I just wanted it sorted out.

"Return process dragged on forever"
I started off patient about the exchange, but that changed fast. The whole thing took way too long, and support didn’t really do much besides send vague replies. After way too many emails just to get it sorted, I was over it

"Customer Service Left Me Hanging"
I sent a message thinking I’d get a simple bit of help, but then the waiting game began. Days went by it felt like my request had disappeared into the void. When I finally did get any response, it was barely helpful. Frustrating experience overall

"Didn’t exactly survive the great outdoors"
I took this radio on two camping trips and it already cracked. So, you know, not exactly the rugged little outdoor buddy I was hoping for. Disappointing for something that should probably last longer than a couple weekends

"I want to be fair because the order..."
I want to be fair because the order did eventually arrive, but the shipping took much longer than I expected. I understand delays can happen, but there wasn’t enough communication to make the wait feel reasonable. Because of that, I’m not sure I’d order from here again.

"Checkout turned into a whole thing"
I was trying to place an order, had everything in my cart, ready to go... and then checkout just kept glitching. Refreshing, trying again, same thing. I spent way more time on it than I should have, and in the end it felt like I wasted my time. Frustrating.

"Just doesn’t feel reliable for storm alerts"
I bought this mainly for storm alerts, but it missed warnings twice, which really bothered me. Other radios were picking up the signal fine, so my gut says this one just isn’t very dependable. Disappointing, and I don’t trust it much now.
